Fun Volleyball Video Transcript of Rules

 

1. Players are allowed to underhand serve the ball.

2. Players are not allowed to block or attack a serve.

3. Players are not allowed to do hard serves (overhand serve or jump serve).

4. Players are allowed to do soft serves only.

5. Teams are allowed to touch the ball up to four times. Five or more times are not allowed.

6. Players are not allowed to do hard spikes.

7. Players are not allowed to do these on purpose:

   1. Bump the ball out

   2. Hold the ball

   3. Punch the ball

   4. Hold the ball like a basketball

   5. Headbutt the ball

   6. Kick the ball

8. The ball is allowed to hit the net.

9. Players are allowed to do these:

   1. Bump the ball

   2. Set the ball

   3. Pancake the ball

   4. Touch the ball with one arm

   5. Soft kick the ball

10. The ball is allowed to accidentally touch someone’s head.

11. Players are allowed to do a soft attack/block/tip/punch, even with a thumbs up!

12. Ball is allowed to hit the net poles, basketball net/rim, walls, and ceilings.

13. The ball is not allowed to touch the floor during play.

14. Players are not allowed to step fully over the line under the net, but is allowed to touch or overlap the line.

15. Players are not allowed to touch the ball two consecutive times in a row.

16. Players are not allowed to pull down the net

17. Players are not allowed to touch the top white strip of the net.
